Belsby Engineering provides environmental and permitting services for all publicly funded projects. State and federal funding agencies require their projects to complete State Environmental Policy Act (SEPA), National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) or an Environmental Assessment (EA) process. Many other projects meet the statutory requirements and need permitting assistance prior to design and construction.

Belsby has developed an expertise in working with federal, state and regulatory agencies such as the United States Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Department of Ecology (DOE), Washington State Department of Fish and Wildlife (WDFW), Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and the United State Housing and Urban Development (HUD) program. We identify local permitting jurisdictions to ensure all requirements are met and maintained throughout the project.
Many project sites are sensitive and require specialized techniques and compliance requirements to be met. Belsby uses standard Best Management Practices (BMPs) and modern erosion and sediment control measures to facilitate sustainable projects with minimal impact to the environment.
